The Escalade-V comes standard with a new robust V-8 engine. While its specs have not yet been announced, the Escalade-V is expected to use the same V-8 engine found in the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. That sedan produces 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. With its much larger frame, the Escalade-V won't produce those specific numbers, but they will certainly be impressive.

The engine is paired with a 10-speed automated manual transmission. Other new highlights include a twin-turbo grille and a 20-inch alloy wheel design.

The exact specifications of the Escalade-V engine are not yet known. As mentioned before, however, the luxury SUV will likely share an engine with the extremely powerful CT5-Blackwing sedan.
